A week ago, my dad passed away. He suffered from COPD, a byproduct of him smoking for a very very long time. In his honor, we had friends and family over at our place to celebrate his life, remember the great things he did, and, naturally, get pretty drunk all around.
One thing I was not expecting to do was open bottle #2/3 of my 2013 Dark Lord stash (note: NOT my pic). I opened one earlier pretty quickly after I got it, and I couldn't believe the difference a few months made! I will definitely be holding onto my last bottle and aging it for years to come!

Sorry for your loss, glad you had a celebration of his life, in his honor. Also jealous that you have a Dark Lord stash. Keep that last one in the cellar for a good long time.
